Well, its been over a year since my last entry... I guess I should continue with this yearly update tradition. It's still hard to revisit the past, but I think I'm slowly growing up enough to appreciate the good times and let go of the hurt and look ahead to a great future... even if it's not what I had in mind four years ago.

People come into your life
for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Less than a month until I turn 19. If I had to pick one year that completely and totally changed my life, without a doubt it would be the eighteenth year of my life. Sure, other years were special - kindergarten, eighth grade, high school. I've learned so much throughout my life... but no year brought greater lessons or changes than this past one.

I learned to trust God. Because no matter what I wanted, I seemed to get the opposite. Until He showed me that His plans are above mine. It doesn't change the hurt, but it explains it. It doesn't mean I don't miss what I had, but it allows me to appreciate it. And somehow, I've found something better. So, when I thought I had lost it all... I discovered that God preserved what really mattered... and gave me so much more. I miss the team, the PeCo crew and of course Zeth... but it turns out that God knew all along. And you can always call me Zarah.

Oh, yeah, and I also learned to live like you were dying.

We may never know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future!

And in case I never sign on to this thing again... It's a trip. I'll catch you later.

This is going to be a crazy end of the week/weekend... starting.... today. ---> watchin the FH game at 4, rec basketball game @ 8, homework and studying for tomorrow. Friday ---> classes, driving to Harrisburg (yikes) and volunteer babysitting at Bethesda - which i am looking forward to, more homework. Saturday ----> getting up early and watching my cousins, watching the FH game @ 1, going to the soccer game Sat. night. Sunday----> church, pot pie luncheon (yum), and *crossses fingers* carving pumpkins. except i doubt i will be carving pumpkins... ill probably be back at messsiah doing homework. joy. So that was a very dull and boring xanga entry. but now i must go to chapel.

p.s. i babysat my boys yesterday and then stayed for dinner and let me tell you. i do miss that family. haha... and brad was in the bathtub when i left, so i just said goodbye to cade and yelled back to brad and scott, but apparently they didnt hear me because five minutes later i was driving down the road and my cell rang. it was meg and brad was sobbing in the background. she's like, do you hear that? and i was all worried and i wanted to know what was wrong. she's said, you didnt say goodbye to him!!! hahaha.... poor kiddo. so i talked to him on the phone. He is adorable. I love those kids.
